Medical self-help groups and other support groups are an important source of additional information for many disorders and other problems or concerns involving women. These consumer groups can provide you with useful information about disorders and treatments as well as providing needed emotional support. Most have toll-free numbers that you can call. Some have on-line sources which can be helpful also.
